Processing connected with the web services of this website takes place at the Data Controller’s premises and/or at third parties expressly appointed as Data Processors.

Purposes and legal basis of processing

Personal data collected through this website and through the company’s communication channels, including e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp, are processed by the Data Controller for the following purposes:

  • website browsing and access to content: the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Data Controller and the need to make the website accessible (Art. 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR);
  • management of requests sent through contact forms or e-mail addresses published on the website: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject and/or the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR);
  • communication via WhatsApp link or other instant-messaging systems: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in providing prompt assistance (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR);
  • assistance through the Landbot.io chatbot and PureChat.com live-chat form: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in providing real-time information and support (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR);
  • statistical analysis and website-traffic monitoring through Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and ShinyStat, in order to measure the effectiveness of content and improve the user experience: the legal basis is the user’s consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR);
  • compliance with legal obligations or orders issued by public authorities: the legal basis is compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR);
  • sending, exclusively subject to the data subject’s specific consent, informational and promotional communications via WhatsApp concerning FEVI products, services, news and offers, with a maximum frequency of two messages per month. The legal basis for the processing is the data subject’s consent, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 130 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. Data processed

Browsing data
The IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data such as IP addresses, domain names of the computers used by users, URI/URL addresses of requested resources, time of request, request method, status code, operating system and browser.
These data are used for technical purposes and anonymous statistical analysis and are deleted within a few days, except where retention is necessary for investigations relating to cybercrime.

Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional and voluntary sending of communications through contact forms, e-mail, WhatsApp or chat entails the acquisition of the personal data provided by the user, which are used exclusively to respond to requests or provide assistance. Users are requested not to provide sensitive data or data that are excessive in relation to the purpose of the request.

Cookies and analytics tools

The website uses technical cookies and, subject to consent, analytics and marketing cookies managed by third parties. In particular:

  • Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) – a tag-management system that may activate other analytics or marketing scripts. It does not directly collect personal data but enables the activation of other tools that may do so.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) – used in anonymised mode for aggregate statistical analysis of website usage. IP anonymisation is enabled and data sharing with Google is disabled.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Inc.) – a tool used to measure interactions between the website and Meta advertising campaigns (Facebook/Instagram). It collects data on user behaviour only after explicit consent has been provided through the cookie banner.
  • ShinyStat (Webtrekk S.r.l. / Triboo S.p.A.) – an Italian web-analytics platform compliant with the guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority, which may operate anonymously or, subject to consent, in extended mode.

All the analytics tools listed above install cookies only after the user has given explicit consent through the cookie banner/cookie panel, in accordance with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021.
Users may change or withdraw their consent at any time by accessing the cookie-management panel.

Communication and assistance services

  • WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms Inc.) – the link available on the website allows users to start a direct chat with the company. The service may transfer personal data outside the EU. Users are advised not to share sensitive or confidential information through this channel.
  • Landbot.io (HELLO UMI S.L., Spain) – platform used to manage the chatbot. Data communicated through the chat are used to provide automated responses and assistance. Landbot acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the Data Controller.
  • PureChat.com (Pure Chat Inc., USA) – live-chat service with an operator, which may collect technical and usage data such as IP address, browser information and chat logs. Data are managed in accordance with the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers outside the EU.

Methods and duration of processing
Personal data are processed using electronic and IT tools and according to procedures strictly related to the purposes described above, in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency and data minimisation.
Data are retained only for the period strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected and, in any event:

  • contact data: for a maximum of 24 months after the request has been closed;
  • technical browsing data: for no longer than 7 days, unless further retention is necessary for the investigation of criminal offences;
  • third-party cookies: according to the retention periods indicated in the Cookie Policy.

Communication, disclosure and transfer of data
Data are not publicly disclosed, but may be communicated to parties providing technical or management services on behalf of FeVi S.R.L. unipersonale, such as IT suppliers, hosting providers, system-maintenance providers and chat or analytics providers, who are appointed as Data Processors.
Some of these providers, including Google, Meta and PureChat, may process data in countries outside the EU; in such cases, the transfer takes place in accordance with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

Rights of the data subject
Users may exercise at any time the rights provided for under Articles 15–22 GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent.
