MODULAR sandblasting machines series (SMS/SMES)

SMS FeVi Modular sandblasting machines series SMS-SMES, besides having the same features of the SM-SME range are fitted with the abrasive dose valve Mod. PRV. This valve is piloted through a pneumatic pulse that opens and closes the valve at the beginning and end of the operating cycle, keeping the previous adjustments constant. The advantage is that the initial clogging of the hose is completely eliminated when the sandblasting machine starts up, up to a distance of 20 mt.

It is also possible to install the following devices on models SMS-SMES:

• TRIPLE REMOTE CONTROL KIT. Thanks to this system the valve for abrasive can be opened and closed also during the operating cycle and hence completely eliminate the initial clogging of the hose even on the long distance. The system also allows for the cleaning of the blasted surface through dusting, or, if the machine is enhanced with the aero-sandblasting kit Mod.WBK10, through washing.
• TRIPLE REMOTE CONTROL KIT WITH MACHINE UNDER PRESSURE. Thanks to this system it is possible to perform all the operations possible with the triple remote control kit, with the option of stopping the operating cycle without depressurizing the tank of the sandblaster thus eliminating idle times because the abrasive immediately reaches the nozzle. The system is useful when it is necessary to stop and start the operating cycle frequently.

MODULAR sandblasting machines series SC/SCX

Sandblasting machines with pneumatic remote control The sandblasting machines are fitted with aluminum handle valve with safety block device with lock and mt. 20 (mt.5 for mod. SCX24 and mt. 10 for SC24 and SCX60 - SCX120 - SCX200) of double sheathed hose for remote control. Models SC220 - SC280 are fitted with an abrasive dosing valve Mod. PRV that, controlled through a handwheel system, opens and closes when the sandblasting cycles starts and stops thanks to a pneumatic pulse. The Mod. SCX range, fitted with tanks of liters 24-60-120 and 200, is also available in the versions with hose, nozzle and sandblasting mask. Cod. art. Aerosandblasting kit MODULAR series Mod. WBK10

This new system, that we patented, can be used with modular sandblasting machines and with the necessary changes on all FeVi sandblasting machines fitted with remote control. The systems operates with the introduction of water in the air-abrasive mixture to obtain the following advantages in the various fields of applications:

• gradual and constant reduction in the quantity of dust up to total elimination.
• Decrease in the consumption of compressed air (up to approx. 25%) proportional to the increase in the quantity of water added to the air-abrasive mixture. The WBK 10 kit also enables thanks to its features:
• The automatic interruption of the flow of water when the sandblasting machine stops.
• The possibility for the operator to adjust the quantity of water from where he is working
• The constant flow of water of 2.5 lt./min. up to a maximum distance of 80 mt.

NOTE: the system can be powered through connection to the water line or through water collection tanks.

Triple remote control kit

The triple remote control kits can be installed only on sandblasting machines of the series .SMS or SMES and offer the following advantages:

• Automatic opening and closing, with pneumatic system, of the valve for abrasives Mod.PRV, when the sandblasting machine starts and stops with consequent elimination of the initial clogging of the hose when the cycle starts.
• Possibility of closing the abrasive valve mod. PRV, from stage of operation, during the sandblasting cycle and subsequent re-setting of the mixture to the conditions prior to the interruption, through a ball valve on Mod.SMS and a switch on Mod.SMES.

The triple remote control kit in the version WITH MACHINE UNDER PRESSURE also enables to keep the tank of the sandblasting machine under pressure whether or not the operating cycle has been interrupted or not. These kits can be supplied with the sandblasting machine or applied at a later stage.
