Suitable for the passage of any type of abrasive (siliceous sand, shots, etc.). they have a very thick inner sub-layer , black and smooth, made of highly resistant rubber. This sub-layer is stiffened with tough synthetic fiber layers. The particular type of material used eliminates the problem of electro-static current. The outside cover made of black canvas-like rubber is resistant against atmospherics.
